In a previous article, I discussed the Kasar Devi Temple and its significance. It is not only a place suitable for meditation but also a spot where Swami Vivekananda spent extended periods of time. The temple is constructed around the cave of Kasar Devi, a manifestation of Durga. Before reaching the temple, there are the Shiva lingam and Bhairav temples.
The black panther, to me, represents Shiva himself, indicating his protection over me. While I may associate it with Kasar Devi, the energy I sense is masculine, similar to the gazing eyes I saw during the Nandi experience. As my practice, I fasted for two months before visiting this powerful, magnetic location.
Back at the hotel, I felt the energy cleanse, booting out negativity like a boss. This spiritual shower convinced me that this temple is like a one-stop-shop for ditching bad vibes we lug around daily.
Would I swing by again? You bet! I'd happily sip chai with my feline pal a thousand times and then some!
