Trikkakara Vamanamoorthy Temple, Kochi, Kerala

We visited Trikkakara Vamanamoorthy Temple at Kochi, Kerala however, as always, no photography was allowed inside any Kerala temples.

The temple is believed to be 4,500 years. Vamana is an avatar of Lord Vishnu where he came to dissolve the greed of a king by taking over the land he possessed.

History says Lord Parasurama, placed the deity at the Trikkakara Vamanamoorthy Temple, Kochi, Kerala.

The King was a follower of Lord Siva, and he had built a Lord Siva temple here. At Thrikkakara temple, Lord Siva is worshipped along with Lord Vishnu.

We visited another Lord Shiva Goddess Parvati Temple called Sree Bhavaneeswara Mahakshetram at Sreenarayana Nagar Palluruthy, Kochi and I have posted this photo for originality purposes.
